25-JUN-21

Today the Ontario Autism Program announced the launch of the Caregiver-mediated Early Years Programs.

Lake Ridge Community Support Services will be a provider in partnership with the Region of Durham and Resources for Exceptional Children & Youth. Grandview Kids will provide the central intake for Durham Region.

These programs will support families with young children ages 12 months to 48 months with autism spectrum disorder. The programs will be play-based, child-led and developmentally appropriate, and available for a period of up to six months per child.

At Lake Ridge Community Support Services we’ll be providing services to families with children up to 48 months old through Project ImPACT.

Ministry expects to send the first wave of invitation letters to families on Monday, June 28.
