More than friends: Sexuality, Intimacy & ASD

The focus of this workshop is to provide parents, caregivers, and professionals with an introduction to topics and teaching strategies for youth/teenagers with ASD about healthy sexuality and intimacy topics:

  • An introduction to different stages of sexual development and intimacy

  • Discussion about how to teach skills related to sexuality and intimacy

  • Resources to support teenagers with ASD in regards to sexuality and intimacy topics

Attendees will participate in interactive discussions and will receive resources to better understand how they can support youth/teenagers.

Workshops are eligible to parents, caregivers, and professionals!
